Crack/cuts on corner of lips? - toddlers and herpes on nose

I sometimes have cracks and cuts that are a little line at the corner of my lips. I always thought it was because my lips are dry because they tend to be dry.


I just found out I had herpes 1st I get in 3 ½ years since I've been with the person who does not. Then the crack / cut a symptom of herpes?

In fear, because I like Chapstick would use in this area, and sometimes my son, take my lip balm and use it wanted.
