Home Theatre Media Center Wiring A House For A Home Theatre System?

Wiring a house for a home theatre system? - home theatre media center

HELLO,

I think my son home for a home theater system, system of a 42 "LCD display is, A / Yamaha Boston Acoustics 7.1 installation, video, audio media streamer that I have not yet been found, and DVR. I not the power / coax / network connections, the recording of TV and entertainment center, but it's a basement not finished in this part of the house which allows me easy access to wiring relitively space.

Anyway, has anyone any experience there, and advice / opinion / do 's / not ... etc.

Thank you!

ps I'm going to lead to power, coaxial cable, Direct TV, and Ethernet, as well as the possibility of wiring for the installation of loudspeakers (debate yes / no, because 7 speakers and a sub. .. that a lot of work, it's worth it. .?)

I build a home theater basement. Not too difficult if you have access. You have to plan things well, but to ensure that end with his son on the right side, if you want to ..

The problem you do not have the power and the wiring to the main location of the premises wiring through the room. If you are the son can get through the floor, you can transfer to the wall mounting plates for the users to drill a hole in the floor plate between the poles. Basically, the fishing cable is not so difficult, but it is complicated in a room and have until the end of painting and painting drywall.

Another possibility is Wiremold (or similar) cable channels PLASTING ... find and hide all the cables and you can run along the base molding. It is not cheap, but compared to the cost of working for someone (to hide the wiring, or even frustration and DIY effort) is a good solution.

I recommend either Wallplates (see the link) from a source and are available in only about oneCombination of NY.

If the connection to be sure of the HDMI cable to use nominal wall and buy a good job, who wants to "future proof" (I recommend Blue Jeans Cable).

Finally, everything we have now put ... even if not immediately.
